These are the Admin rules, those were made for the Hooligans Admin TEAM Each member who was accepted in the community and became an admin has to obey these rules! They can be earned by reports made by players in the server. I recommend you to read these rules several times so you won't be able to mess it up.
Follow these Admin rules so you don't get punished.
If you see an Admin in the server not doing the right thing, please report it here!
Eventeams
Eventeams should be done every round and must be done by all Admins in the server. Don't get second thoughts like, there are 5 Admins in the server and I trust on them that they will eventeams.
This command is very important, because it will make the teams even. Always do this command please!
Poping
# Blocking
Blocking other people will lead up to a pop. Admins are allowed to pop blockers, after you, of course have given them a few warnings. Don't pop after the first block! If they still don’t get the picture, keep popping them and after a couple of rounds, kick them! Obviously, if they keep repeating, ban them!
# High boosting
Sometimes people are boosted to high spots in the map and that is a reason to pop a person. But again, you have to warn a person who is too high boosted, at least 3 times. If a person still doesn't go off the spot then pop the player(s). Obviously, if they keep repeating, ban them!
Muting
# Language
People have always been using bad language and those things are not allowed in our server. When a person is saying insulting language you mute him/her. However sometimes muting people for a round isn't enough anymore.
When you mute a person who still continues his bad language you simply mute him for 2 rounds. If after those 2 rounds he still uses bad language you mute him an entire map.
Muting people is something which I think is abused very fast. Muting for "noob"or "looser" is not acceptable.
Examples for acceptable mutes:
- Saying words like “kanker” or “cancer” in the server is unacceptable! You will get a straight mute. (since alot of people keep provoking with words like "anker." Anything related to Kanker or Cancer will be a mute!)
- Insulting players about their families and relatives, etc.
- If someone spams the server chat, tell them to stop, if they don’t listen, then mute them!
- If a player tells the admin where someone is by !ac (Hey Admin!) then that is a free mute.
Lastly, you’re the Admin in the server, we trust that you make the right decision and that you are free to mute anybody who you thinks is doing the wrong thing, and it doesn’t have to be these examples!
Kicking
Kicking players is hard to tell when to do.. You have to decide it yourself, however kick "Known" hackers or "Possible" hackers for getting Fairplay.
Also kick players who keep seeking after multiply times warning that there ping is to high (250+).
Examples when to kick a player:
- If you have muted a player multiply times and they don’t understand what is right and wrong then your free to kick them. If they reconnect and they start doing the right thing, then don’t kick them again until they have done something wrong.
- Kick players who have been warned multiply times because of their high exceeded ping (250+). If you have evened the teams and they keep going to that side (seekers), then you don’t have the right to kick them.
Banning
# Hacking
Before you ban a player for using hacks you have to check multiply times if the person is on Fairplay or not. Don't ban players who have hacked in a different server, but keep an eye on them.
# Reconnecting
Reconnecting for mute is not allowed. When a player is muted and reconnects, you mute him again with the warning "Reconnect is not allowed and you will be banned for it". When he reconnects again you do the same. If the player reconnects for the 3th time you are allowed to ban the player for "Reconnecting on mute"
# Teaming
When 2 or more people are teaming up together (They have to be on different teams) you have to warn them 1 time. If they still continue there teaming you simply ban them.
# Other
There could be a lot of reasons to ban a player and I don't think I could list them all now. Decide yourself whether to ban a player or not. But remember, it can always turn out on abuse so don't ban to fast!
Forceteam
When a player who seeks has a ping over 250+ then you have to force team him. Some ask: Why 250+? It's because all players should have a fair chance of getting in the seeking team without annoying others with there "range".
Another reason to forceteam a player would be if a seeker isn't killing people to annoy the Admins and all other players cause he doesn't agree with the "eventeams".
It's hard to post all admin rules up here so these are the most important rules. Decide for yourself if you do other actions for any of those, but be aware of the fact that it can turn out into abuse.
Follow these Admin rules so you don't get punished.
